Does Master Volume affect tone?
Part of the reason it’s so confusing is because neither volume or master volume can increase the gain, which is way different than a tube amp. The point is really though that master volume has no effect on tone, only the overall volume.
Does SRV use overdrive?

I have the Lionheart 5 watt combo. Great amps. Update is I’m finding myself going back to just playing plugged straight into it for over 80% of the time. I’m really happy with the basic tones. My current thinking is to get a compressor / boost pedal and to only use that instead of a more extensive pedal set.
